a way to collate and keep a reference to a few things that interest me
a presentation of some items I have collected that may not be readily available elsewhere on the internet
a collection of a few personal photos - probably only of interest to family and friends

I cannot really give much of an explanation as to why I am including specific topics within the site. It's all subjective! To see what's available at present look at the 'navigation links' list on the right.

Those topics included are just subject areas that I find stimulating, have enjoyed investigating, and have held my interest over several years. Though, having said that, a more extended attempt at explaining my interest in the Battle of Arnhem is given here.

And for those who are interested, my photo galleries are now beginning to grow!

My overall aim is to create original web pages without copying wholesale from elsewhere on the internet; this practice is becoming far too widespread. In itself this limits the subjects I can cover - I need the appropriate resources to produce the pages - and forces me in certain directions...I just hope these directions prove interesting to at least a few people!
